Hi, I’m Krystie O’Mara, founder of KO Artistry & Beauty.

My journey into the beauty industry began after working as a veterinary nurse. While I loved caring for animals, becoming a mum inspired me to pursue a career that allowed me to combine creativity, helping others and a more flexible lifestyle.

What began with a love for brows and beauty has grown into an award-recognised business offering cosmetic, body and paramedical tattooing, alongside selected beauty treatments.

In 2026, I expanded into body tattooing after obtaining my NSW Master Tattoo Licence, allowing me to combine artistic expression with the precision, attention to detail and personalised approach that has always been at the heart of KO Artistry & Beauty.

Education has been a huge part of my journey. Beyond my formal qualifications, I have completed extensive advanced training, certifications and masterclasses across cosmetic tattooing, body tattooing, brows, lashes, scar revision and paramedical treatments. I continue to invest in further education with Australian and international educators to continually refine my techniques and stay current with industry advancements, products and safety standards.

For me, this work is about far more than appearance. One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was helping a client regain some of her confidence after losing her eyebrows during chemotherapy. Experiences like this are a constant reminder of why I love what I do.
